As various government agencies take steps to mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus, it’s understandable that you may be concerned about your financial security—and our engagement with your accounts. We wanted to provide some reassurance on how our Values and Vision team and all of us at Waddell and Reed remain committed to you.
What We’re Doing Locally
We are actively monitoring the situation and taking steps to ensure the health and well-being of our clients and our team. While our doors are now closed to walk-in traffic, we remain engaged receiving documents and processing your requests and to reach out to you to serve your needs and opportunities. We remain committed to connecting via phone calls, emails, newsletter posts, and video conferencing to facilitate our interactions with your during this unprecedented time.
Rest assured, we remain committed to help you, each step along the way.
What We’re Doing Collectively
Founded in 1937 in the shadow of the tough economic times, we have remained true to our culture of risk management, long-term strategies, and focus on enduring fundamentals. As we manage your money, remembering the trust invested in us has guided us through many storms with our clients over the decades.
We are now committed to everyday preventive actions (e.g., frequent handwashing, social distancing, etc.) and following guidance from the CDC and WHO to ensure a healthy office environment for our employees locally and at the home office. Our firm and its home office support have long maintained crisis contingency plans and are now supporting infrastructure for remote work for our home, regional, and local offices.

And thanks for so many kind words of concern and encouragement shared with our team as we have reached out to and connected with many of you. This is a challenging time for everyone, and we want to make sure you know we are here for you.
